it was good to get some extra steps in, anyways. they ended up arriving at home only 15 minutes later than expected, so jack got to finish his homework with plenty of time for him and aric to play minecraft y terraria y otras videojuegos.

jack: i agree. but don't you wonder what would have happened if we went thru the detour anyways?

jack: i feel like we missed out on a totally swawesome epic space adventure by playing it safe and stuff.

jack: idk, its like as if some sort of invisible, omniscient, omnipotent character beyond our comprehension made us take the easy way out and now we're doomed to repeat the same grueling cycle indefinitely.
